Large National firm has acquired a Midlands based Independent IFA, one of the largest advice firms in the west Midlands, for an undisclosed fee in a deal that sees the former add £1.3bn in funds under influence.

The acquisition is expected to add more than £12m in revenues to the group, and will take client funds to more than £7bn within the firm, which will now have more than 100 independent advisers.

This will create a significant presence in the west Midlands, and add a sizable office in Wolverhampton, as well as satellite offices in Nuneaton and Bromsgrove. The acquired firm will re brand in the second half of 2019 and advisers will be staying throughout the acquisition: however the acquiring firm declined to say whether the same was true for all staff members. Their CEO added that this was an important acquisition and would add an outstanding business of significant scale to the group. It is the third acquisition for the firm this year and growth through acquisitions will continue to be an important part of their strategy.
